Poe Law, LLC is Hiring an Attorney Near Prince Frederick, MD

Poe Law, LLC is a personal injury and workers' compensation law firm that has a great reputation representing injury victims from intake through trial to obtain maximum compensation. We are seeking an associate attorney to join our growing team. Our primary office is located in Prince Frederick, MD, but we would thoughout the state and are often in Prince George's County for trial and court appearances. Poe Law, LLC is seeking an attorney with approximately 1-6 years experience who is interested in litigation. Presonal Injury or Workers' compensation experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation:

Approximately $90,000. Salary commissurate with experience. All applicats will be considered. Please provide cover letter with salary preferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions

Qualifications:

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
  • Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
  • Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
  • Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
